A two-week tour combing the western, central, and eastern sections of the Lycian Way with upgraded accommodation and some of the trail’s most classic hikes.
Itinerary
Upon arrival at Dalaman Airport, you will be transported to your hotel in Fethiye. Depending on the arrival time, you might have time to explore the coastal town.
Overnight at Yacht Boheme Hotel, Fethiye
The route starts from Fethiye’s boat marina and ancient theatre, ascending past ancient Lycian tombs. The route continues on an old, cobbled road through the pines before descending into the fertile Kayaköy valley. After exploring the ghost town, continue on to the Blue Lagoon at Oludeniz, ending your hike with a swim by your hotel.
NOTE: It is possible to do a shorter walk, starting from Kayakoy and ending in Oludeniz (7km).
Overnight in Ecclesia Hotel, Oludeniz
15 min transfer to the beginning of the hike in Ovacık. The walk follows a forest road traversing the skirts of Mt. Babadağ with wonderful views of Oludeniz and the Blue Lagoon. The route continues up on a caravan trail and reaches Kozağaç and then Kirme before descending to Faralya with views of the village and the sea beyond.
Overnight in Faralya Misafir Evi or Vista Del Amor (extra charge and transfer).
The day starts directly from the hotel and follows a mix of scenic dirt roads and well-defined caravan trail up through the valley. After a long and scenic climb, the route reaches the small village of Alınca. This is a nice place perched high up on a hillside with amazing views of the Seven Capes. A short transfer (20 min) takes you to your hotel in Yediburunlar.
Overnight in Yediburunlar Lighthouse Hotel.
A great mix of natural diversity from dense forests to barren hills, from sweeping views of the coast to quiet villages. The hike ends in the village of Sidyma, one of the few places where you can see a modern village built upon an ancient city. Upon arrival, you’ll have a homemade lunch in the village before the transfer takes you to Kalkan.

Short transfer to Delikkemer. Delikkemer is the ancient aqueduct that used to carry the water for Patara, one of the 6 major Lycian Cities. The piping system is still visible along the hike. The route passes by some old olive groves with views of the fertile Esen Valley. Walking into the ancient city, its significance immediately becomes apparent with its well-preserved theatre, parliament house, main streets, and much more. The day ends with a visit to the 16 km long fine-sand beach of Patara, also a sea turtle nesting area. Transfer to Kaş.

Overnight in Payam Hotel, Kaş
Today, you can either take a day off or do a short hike along the coast.
A short transfer takes you to the beginning of the hike at pristine and unsettled Ufakdere bay. The coastal path carries on through low vegetation allowing for endless sea views before arriving at Limanagzı Bay. This is a perfect spot to go for a swim and take a break. Passing by the ancient rock tombs of the Lycians, the day ends as you walk straight into your hotel.
Overnight in Payam Hotel, Kaş
A 30-minute drive takes you to the small village of Kılıçlı to start the hike. The ruins of ancient Apollonia are also located nearby. For a place in the middle of nowhere, this forgotten site has a lot to offer. The stony path starts descending through low vegetation before coming upon the sarcophagi of Aperlae. The ancient economy of this town was driven by the valuable Tyrian dye derived from a type of marine snail. Your efforts on the hike are rewarded with a nice boat trip over the Kekova sound with its turquoise waters. Visit the sunken city and disembark in Simena for the night.

After a 2-hour transfer, the hike starts with a gentle descent down to the stream surrounded by plane trees. Crossing the stream, the route begins to ascend through the pine forest to a ridge where you will see the flames of Chimera. These natural flames have been burning for thousands of years. Descending back down, the day ends as you walk into your guesthouse in Çıralı. In the afternoon you can spend some time on the wonderful beach of Çıralı or explore the ruins of Olympos.
Overnight in Naturelife Bunglows, Çıralı
The hike starts directly from your guesthouse and crosses Cirali’s impressive beach to reach the ruins of Olympos. Scattered all around the valley, you won’t soon forget the hidden and mystic setting of these ruins. The route climbs up through a tunnel-like stretch of strawberry trees before reaching the early settlement of Olimpos on Musa Mountain. The path starts descending through the pine forest and reaches the beautiful beach of Adrasan. After a swim, transfer to your hotel.
Overnight in Melanippe Relaxing Hotel, Karaöz.
The transfer takes you to the beginning of the hike in Aşağı Kuzdere. The route follows a mixture of forest roads and paths through the pines and descends down to Phaselis. Phaselis was once one of the most beautiful cities of Lycia, where Alexander the Great also spent a winter. After seeing the ruins and having the chance to swim in one of the old harbors, you’ll be transferred to Antalya.
Overnight at Belmondo Hotel, Antalya.
Visit the Antalya Archaeology Museum, which houses some of the best artifacts from the neighboring ancient cities. After your visit, you can spend the rest of the day exploring the small streets or just taking a well-deserved rest at a Turkish bath.

The tour ends as you are transferred to Antalya Airport (40 min).
